Carnegie Mellon

Several of us spent yesterday with Robin Shoop and his team at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy in Pittsburgh. You all know that the Carnegie Mellon group produces RobotC but you might not know that they also provide extensive training for all types of platforms.

Holding the training in the same building that they're conducting all kinds of cool testing and development work is a nice setup.

Robin and his group were recently awarded a DARPA grant to develop tools to get kids more interested in Computer Science and they've put together some impressive plans. Check them out if you get a chance. http://www.education.rec.ri.cmu.edu/

Hi, this is kind of off topic, but if there was some way for FTC to publish match results and awards like FRC currently does, that would be awesome and very, very useful.
