Question - Reporting high scores

Over the years I've posted several things in this blog from different FTC events. A couple times I showed pics or video from impressive robots.

I'd like to add something, probably via this blog, about teams who are doing well with this year's game. Nothing that gives away any secrets but perhaps just the reported high scores in matches.

Of course they would have to be reported as alliance pair teams - but it might setup some friendly competition to see which teams (and events) are scoring highest....

What do you think?

Sounds good!

You're only as good as your competition and it would help set goals. Thumbs Up!

I've talked about this a bit with others too and I think I'll do it. There is a simple list "gadget" I can add. I'll report the highest score I get from Affiliate Partners each week and probably end up keeping say the top 5 scores on the list. I'll list team numbers, location of event, and the date and score. The list will change as higher scores get reported.

Sounds like a good idea to me! Would be great to see how teams are doing!

So, we would have to be at a compition for you to post the scores? Or could it be something like: We send you a video of are robot scoring a million points( :P ) and then you could post it?

We're a rookie team, but I'm for it. It serves as incentive and motivation. We preach Core Values; let's let the kids practice it! I would like to see it travel down to FLL.

We are a rookie team also, although we also have an older team at our school. The idea for a list of up to date scores sounds great. It gives us something to aim for in our scrimmages!
