"Shall we play a game?"

In FTC, strategy is a big part of the game.  I know the details aren't released yet, but has your team thought about their strategy yet?  Are you going for a defense oriented robot or an offensive one?  How will your robot compliment your alliance mate's robot?  All these things are hard to predict right now, but definitely worth a little forethought thought.

Almost there

It's been four months since Championship but we're finally nearing the end of the long road to the release of the new game.  I can't wait!

It's (almost) game time!

The FTC Blog is back after catching a lift across the country on the RoboBus for summer vacation!

It's been busy  here at FIRST headquarters with all the preparations for the 2012-2013 season.  The Game Design Committee is hard at work finalizing all the rules for the exciting new game and FTC staffers are working hard preparing manuals and documents, sourcing field elements and answering all the ringing phones.

Wednesday we finished shooting the kick-off video and we're all pretty excited about it.  Here's a behind the scene's sneak peek to get you excited too!
